Casino Rewards Group and Super Group Casinos Launch in Alberta

The Alberta regulated iGaming market opened in July 2026 with 22 newly licensed sites launching. More brands have launched in the province since then this includes casinos within the Casino Rewards Group and the Super Group.

Casino Rewards Group Casinos Enter the Alberta iGaming Market

At the start of October, casinos that are part of the Casino Rewards Group launched in Alberta. The operator Apollo Entertainment Limited is licensed with the AGLC and lists seven brands. Six of these now have Alberta online casino sites that are open and accepting players. These are:

What is the Casino Rewards Group?

The Casino Rewards Group is a network of online casinos that has been around since 2000. It operates 13 online casinos in Canada and offers players a shared loyalty program across all sites. It offers frequent rewards including the Time of Your Life (TOYL) Sweepstakes, weekly, monthly, and special promotions, cashback, and a VIP Lucky Jackpot draw.

Super Group Brands Now Available in Alberta

Five Super Group casinos have launched in Alberta giving players even more new Alberta casino sites to choose from. These sites opened between September and the start of October and include big brand names like Jackpot City and Betway. All are licensed and regulated by the AGLC and included on the official AiGC registered iGaming sites list.

What is the Super Group?

Super Group (SGHC) Limited is a global online gaming and sports betting company. It is a publicly traded holding company with subsidiaries that include Cadtree Limited and Cadway Limited. The company holds licenses in over 20 jurisdictions including Ontario and Alberta. There are two loyalty programs, one covering the Cadtree registered casinos and the other covering Betway.

The Growing Alberta Market

The Alberta iGaming market officially opened on 13 July 2026 with 22 sites opening on launch day. Since then it has continued to grow with additional sites obtaining licenses and AiGC agreements to operate in the province.

As of 8 October 2026, there are 41 Alberta iGaming sites available and these include online casinos and sportsbooks. 50+ operators have been granted licenses to operate and they must have launched their Alberta specific platform by 13 October or exit the market.

With this date looming, we could see other big brands like 888 and PokerStars launching Alberta sites in the coming week.
