Betiton and MagicRed have exited the iGaming Market in Ontaro. Both of these online casinos are powered by Aristocrat Interactive on a white-label platform, and they have confirmed they have stopped taking bets from Ontario players.

Betiton launched in Ontario in December 2024 and MagicRed launched a few weeks prior to this. Both online casinos were owned by AG Communications Ltd., which operates as Aspire Global. The official iGaming Ontario (iGO) database has removed both sites from its active list.

Aristocrat Interactive offers white-label services to a number of brands including NeoGames and Pariplay. They help casino and sportsbook operators launch in regulated markets. Pariplay and NeoGames provide digital games to provincial lotteries as per the provincial rules and regulations.

In 2023, Aristocrat partnered with Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) to provide games to Play Alberta. NeoGames also partnered with the Atlantic Lottery Corporation to provide games to Eastern Canadian provinces based on provincial regulations.

Ontario's regulated iGaming market rules allow any licensed company to run up to four sub-brands under a single AGCO license. This means that Aristocrat can launch more online casino brands in Ontario.

Ontario iGaming Market Decrease

With Betiton and Magic Red exiting the Ontario iGaming market, there are now 48 licensed operators running 82 sites (according to the iGO official database). This is down from 50 operators and 88 sites.

The Wildz Group's four brands left. Wildz, previously called Rootz, left the iGaming market in Ontario in October.

iGo released an official statement that said, "Operators make their own business calls in Ontario's competitive market. Over 50 have joined, a few have left. That's normal as the market evolves. This churn actually helps consumers by sparking innovation, boosting service, and keeping things focused on the customer."

New Brands Planning to Launch in Ontario

Even with Betiton, Magic Red, and Wildz, exists, there are still new brands planning to launch in Ontario. High Roller Technologies is to launch Absolutebet and already has its AGCO license. Goldrush Gaming is launching Bet Nova and is waiting on license approval.

These new brands may launch in early 2026 in time for the Ontario iGaming market's fourth anniversary in April 2026.
