28 iGaming Operators Registered with AGLC for July Launch

Alberta's regulated iGaming market is set to launch on 13 July 2026. The AGLC has released an official list of gaming registrations which includes iGaming - Critical Gaming System Providers and iGaming - Operators. All the operators registered are expected to have secured agreements with the Alberta iGaming Corporation prior to a July launch.

AGLC List of Gaming Registrations Released

The official Gaming Registrations list published by the AGLC includes 22 Critical Gaming System Providers and 28 iGaming operators (sportsbooks and casinos). It includes well established software providers like Pragmatic Play, Games Global, IGT, Konami Gaming, Play'n Go, and Relax Gaming.

The list of iGaming Operators also includes familiar names in terms of the casinos or sportsbooks that will launch in the province in July. These include Super Group brands like JackpotCity, Grizzly's Quest, and Betway. Also on the list is FanDuel which is based in Calgary and Pure Casino based in Edmonton. There are also a number of Toronto based companies on the list as well.

The published list of gaming systems providers that have registered with the AGLC as of the 1st of May 2026 includes 22 companies. Some are well known and others are international companies.

With this list we can expect to see 30+ licensed online casinos in Alberta when the regulated iGaming market opens on 13 July and a number of these brands including Caesars have already opened pre-registration on their websites.

Many of the brands that have registered in Alberta are already licensed and regulated by the AGCO and iGO and feature in lists of some of the best Ontario online casinos.

We will be keeping a close eye on how things progress and if a list of additional AGLC registrations are released before July.
