Ontario online casinos are getting Eyecon games for the first time as Playtech expands into the province with a partnership between their Eyecon studio and SkillOnNet. This is great news for Ontarians and Playtech who plan to expand further as 2025 progresses.
Playtech through an extended partnership with SkillOnNet is expanding into Ontario and it will see slots from its subsidiary studio Eyecon being available to Ontarians for the first time.
Eyecon already has over ten years of experience in the UK market and is using its long-standing relationship with SillOnNet to break into the Ontario iGaming market. Players will get to try out popular online slots like the Fluffy Favourites series, Champions of Valhalla, Lucha Rumble, Shaman's Dream, and Temple of Iris 2 at some of the best Ontario online casinos.
Commercial Director at Eyecon, Paul Gielbert, said, "The launch of our games in Ontario with SkillOnNet is an important milestone in our Group's strategy to expand into new markets."
Gielbert also went on to say that because SkillOnNet is a key operator in the Ontario iGaming market, they are excited to be furthering their relationship with them and being an exclusive partner for the launch.
Head of Games at SkillOnNet, Jani Kontturi, said, "We're thrilled to extend our relationship with Playtech and introduce Eyecon's portfolio of exciting and high-performing games to the Ontario Market."
Kontturi also stated their commitment to offering the best and biggest collection of Eyecon slots across all their platforms in all the different jurisdictions that they operator in. This will ensure that SkillOnNet creates the best user experience possible.
The launch in Ontario for Eyecon is just the beginning of this software provider's entry Canada and they plan to partner with other Ontario-based operators to expand further as 2025 continues.
Playtech continues to flourish and with their partnership with ProgressPlay, they recently launched 120 bingo sites in the UK. This has come after the appointment of a new Chairman Elect, John Gleasure, with Playtech's annual general meeting to happen in May 2025. We could see some big announcements coming our way very soon.
