Stake Casino Alberta Bonuses
Unfortunately, when it comes to a Stake Casino bonus we can't go into specifics. There are no Stake Casino free spins at the time of writing, or Stake Casino no deposit free cash promos. In accordance with AGLC bonus advertising rules Albertans must check out the casino bonus page for themselves to see the details.
Wagering Requirements and Casino Terms
Current promotions at Stake Online Casino Alberta are daily or weekly events such as a raffle, and not standard casino promotions like free spins, reload, or cashback. Because of this, they do not feature wagering requirements, but such requirements are likely to apply to any more usual bonuses offered in the future. Albertans should always check the fine print of a bonus before deciding whether to opt in or not.
Games & Software
There are over 500 games available at Stake, including 76 live games and hundreds of slots, with 14 games exclusive to the casino. Seventeen software studios provide the games, with Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw Gaming providing the most.
Slots & Progressive Jackpot Games
The casino has more than 500 online slots, with 144 from Hacksaw Gaming and 254 from Pragmatic Play. Filtering can be done by publisher, and there's direct searching as well as sorting by popularity, newest, most players, and featured. Here are five of the leading slots available at Stake Casino Alberta:
Table Games
Regular table games, played versus the RNG of a game, are fairly thin on the ground but most classic categories have at least one game. Here's what's on offer at Stake:
Live Casino Games
All the classic casino games have multiple live tables at Stake Casino, with over two dozen game shows among the 76 available at the time of writing. Players can choose from a variety of live blackjack, roulette, and baccarat tables. The live casino is furnished by Evolution and Pragmatic Play. Here are the stats and top games in each category:
Sports Betting Options at Stake Casino Alberta
Stake is another new Alberta sports betting site, with promotions and Live, Trending, and My Bets categories at the top of the home page. The left hand side has a menu of top sports like soccer and major leagues, and can be expanded into a full sports or esports list. The longer list of 24 sports includes Formula 1, rugby, ski jumping, snooker. In-play betting is supported with some events being live-streamed.
Odds default to the American format but can be changed to one of six styles using the option at the bottom left. With around 120 markets per EPL game, the depth of betting types is good but not outstanding.
Editor's Opinion on the Games and Software
There's a decent diversity of software providers at the casino but its overall slots numbers are on the slim side, with DraftKings Alberta having over two and a half thousand games in total.
How to Sign Up for a Stake Online Casino Alberta Account
Here are the steps to follow to sign up for an account at Stake Alberta:
- Click the Register button in the top right.
- Enter personal details, including name and date of birth.
- Click continue and enter further personal details, such as home address, telephone number, and information about source of funds.
- Verification checks will be required, which can involve uploading proof of identity such as a passport, proof of address such as a utility bill, and proof of source of funds, such as a bank statement.
- Set limits using responsible gambling tools.
Mobile App and Experience
Stake Casino can be accessed by mobile devices directly using a browser. The App Store and Google Play have apps for iOS and Android OS respectively, although this is not Alberta-specific and there's no direct link on the Alberta casino page currently. The app supports the use of CAD, and both casino and sports betting, including in-play sports bets.
Editor's Opinion on the Mobile Casino
At the time of writing there's no Alberta-specific app but as this exists for Stake in Canada generally it will hopefully be added soon. In the meanwhile Albertans can access the same games and banking systems by using mobile devices via browser as a desktop user.
Deposits & Withdrawals at Stake Online Casino for Alberta Players
Stake is one of the new Alberta minimum deposit casinos accepting deposits from $5. The minimum withdrawal is also $5. In terms of payment options, there are only three listed but Interac is among them.
The table below shows the payment methods along with information on the minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts as the withdrawal speeds.
Note that the payout speed does not include the casino's general pending period of up to 72 hours.
Stake Casino Withdrawal Times & KYC Verification Process
The casino may take up to 72 hours to process withdrawal requests which might not be the fastest payout Alberta casinos offer, and verification checks can also delay the process further. Withdrawals over $3,000 may also take longer to process.
In the event a KYC verification check is needed, an Albertan may need to upload documentation such as passport, bank statement, or utility bill to confirm their personal details are correct.
Editor's Opinion on Banking at the Casino
The pending period of 3 days could be better, but the low deposit and withdrawal thresholds are better than average.
Customer Support Options
There is a help centre but this is small and less helpful than it could be. Support can be reached via either live chat or e-mail, but live chat does require cookies to be enabled and there's no telephone option, which is disappointing.
Security Protocols & Alberta Licensing
Sensitive information is safeguarded by the use of SSL technology, encryption and data masking, anti-malware mechanisms, and security measures to restrict physical access.
The operator, Stake Canada Ltd., is licensed by the AGLC with number 121902. The operator is authorised to operate by the AiGC, and appears on the AiGC's list of registered sites.
Responsible Gambling Tools
Stake's responsible gambling approach starts with registration, requiring new members to be 18 or older. Inside the casino there are more tools, including limits that can be set on deposits, losses, or wagers, on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Session limits can also be set up, and individuals can take a temporary break in play or close their account entirely.
The casino also has a self-assessment quiz and budget calculator. Stake Casino has links to third parties, such as Alberta's centralized Self-Exclusion Program, Alberta Gamblers Anonymous, and GameSense.

Stake Casino Alberta Final Opinion
Stake Alberta has a wide range of contributing software developers but its overall gaming library is slightly on the small side. Its help centre is also notably less helpful than most casinos, but the $5 low minimum deposit and withdrawal limits are friendly to those who prefer smaller budgets. Not a casino to set the world alight, but worth considering, especially for those like to keep their bets small.
